SMOOSH at The Southbank Centre

Paraorchestra brings a wind and brass band and a troupe of dancers for an on-the-move performance of pop-karaoke classics.

Think Fatboy Slim meets Kate Bush meets Basement Jaxx.

For SMOOSH!, a core of Paraorchestra musicians, plus up to 50 local players, are joined by professional and community dancers to form a mobile human jukebox.

You're invited out onto the street to dance and sing along in a magnificent, cacophonous, communal karaoke – a ‘massaoke’!

Composed by Emma-Jean Thackray, with choreography by Tom Jackson Greaves and Beth Hinton-Lever. Directed by Charles Hazlewood.

Produced by Paraorchestra. Presented by the Southbank Centre.
