Isis Wolflight will be running two Balinese Gamelan workshops this Sunday in Eastville Park as part of 'Make Music Day' organised by the Indonesian Embassy London!

There will also be some awesome Gender Wayang performances by Harriet Riley and Thomas Nolan

'A gamelan is a set of percussion instruments from Indonesia, consisting of bronze metallophones and gongs. The music is traditionally performed outdoors at village temple ceremonies.
The music is simple, enchanting and repetitive and there are many different instruments to explore. No musical ability is required to play as I will guide you through the very basic rhythms and melodies.'
