Alex Garden and Harriet Riley supporting STANLÆY EP Launch

  • The Jam Jar Bristol (map)

@ The Jam Jar, 19th December STANLÆY will be presenting Bethany's solo EP titled 'Rif' named after the small village in northern Iceland where Bethany was living whilst writing the EP. STANLÆY will be joined by musical mastermind Alun Elliot-Williams from Waldo's Gift and the legendary Milky Joe of Rwkus to rework the EP songs together as well as playing some other STANLÆY tunez. (Ft. Naomi Hill on violin, Ben Holyoake on bass and Bethany Stenning on vox, electric guitar and harp).

'RIF':
This EP is a fragmented snapshot of Bethany's time whilst living in Rif, a small village in North Iceland in late 2018-early 2019. Each song exploring the combination of electronic beat production and the organic sounds of violin&voice that are close to Bethany's heart. 'Rif' is an ode to heavy introspection, memories, identity, and to physical connections with others and with nature.
